Hospice Care
What is Hospice Care?
Hospice is specialized care recognizing that every person deserves to live the end of their life journey with respect and dignity, pain free and in an environment that promotes quality of life. Hospice provides a holistic, interdisciplinary team of professionals trained to address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of the person with a prognosis of six months or less, and their family. The benefits of hospice are greatest when services are provided early so the patient, family and caregiver(s) can be surrounded with a team of committed, compassionate and caring experts.
